A traditional Cycladic cave residence on Mytakas beach on Milos, with a terrace over the Aegean and direct access to the water.
The space
The house is a sirma, a boat house where local fishermen once kept their boats through the winter, now fitted out for modern stays: a king-size bed and a sofa with COCO-MAT mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, a smart TV and Wi-Fi. For up to 3 guests.
The location
Mytakas beach, close to the villages of Pollonia and Adamas, with their shops, tavernas and cafés; Sarakiniko beach is about 2 km away. A car is needed to get around the island.
Good to know
The car park is at the start of the beach; from there the house is about 130 m away on foot across the sand, and the hosts help with luggage. In July and August the meltemi wind sometimes blows on this side of the island for a few days, during the day only.
