A renovated traditional two-storey stone house in the centre of Katapola on Amorgos, set along a whitewashed Cycladic alley, with panoramic sea and mountain views from its private veranda.
The space
Two bedrooms with four beds and two bathrooms, for up to 6 guests. The ground floor has both bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. Upstairs are the living room with a double sofa bed, another shower room and the furnished veranda. There is an electric barbecue, a washing machine, a desk and Wi-Fi.
The location
Katapola is the main port of Amorgos, with the harbour, market, restaurants, cafés and a sandy beach within walking distance. The botanical garden is beside the house, and a walking path to the archaeological site of Ancient Minoa starts next to it.
Good to know
Access is via steps on a traditional kalderimi path, and the veranda has a wall bench without railings, so children need constant supervision. There is no air conditioning, and pets are allowed. The listing has no carbon monoxide alarm.
